FAQs

  • Whilst Land of The Living is a brand for everyone, it is founded on a biblical psalm:

“I am confident I will see the goodness of the Lord in the Land of The Living”

Whether you believe in a God or not, life is meant to be lived and truly enjoyed.

Unfortunately it doesn’t take someone with superpowers to recognise that so many of us are living so far from this idea. Many of us find ourselves simply just living to just get through the next day, and tied to things robbing us of this so-called life.

Land of the Living is created to try and re-involve us in a genuine enjoyment for life again.

  • Whilst we can’t aim to solve everything, we equally can’t create a brand focussed on bringing life, enjoyment and positivity without doing something, somewhere to try and soften the barriers that stop people from achieving these things.

These barriers being more obvious like homelessness and food poverty, or can be more hidden like mental health struggles or school bullying.

  • Land of the Living takes a few different approaches in order to offer support.

    1. Working with / donating to local charities to provide fast-acting support to those who need it: providing food, clothing or financial donations.

    2. Fundraising events for individuals, charities or events.

    3. General positivity and encouragement to others.

  • Whilst awareness of homeless and poverty can be quite obvious, there are also smaller challenges that often go unseen, and are close by in all of our daily lives.

In a survey I conducted almost everyone mentioned the ever-growing experience with loneliness, lack of personal connection and mental health pressures were significant barriers to quality of life.

This is why we choose to take a dual approach to support and are aware that this takes a different form for everyone we seek to help.
